Is this thing on?

I'm blowing the dust off this blog. 

I was considering how to maintain some contact with folks without being in the ocean of socials. I feel like I have more control over this space. That's most definitely a myth but it's mine and I'm sticking with it. 

I'm not doing this to chase likes. I want to share some photos with folks but I do not need constant affirmation. You want to know what I did today or how my travel is going or just how many cats I own? I might just post it here. I'm gonna throw things and if they stick, well super. If not, well, I will have still scratched whatever itch I think this might be.

I'll do my proof of life check-ins via word game scores in that text thread we've got going. I'll lurk and share on Insta because everyone needs more cat photos in their DMs. But this space is going to require effort from the other end to stay up to date with this. Tag, you're it.
